It's an antique wwii era japanese army medical unit red cross flag. Multi-piece construction type which si the most sought after. It's made of cotton/linen material and measures a large 54.5 inches x 40 inches.

Two ties have come unsewn, but they are still there and original to the flag.You can easily sew them back or leave them the way they are.
